What Dr. Peikari's patients are
saying about him....
The following comments were collected
by an independent third party (DSS Research Corp). Patients were
asked to anonymously fill out a survey and return it to DSS Research
via U.S. mail:
"We are very pleased with Dr. Peikari
and his true concern for me. My health is returning slowly but
surely!"
"Dr. Cyrus Peikari is a very
knowledgeable doctor, very attentive, but very firm. I tell
everyone that is in need of a doctor to go see Dr. Peikari. He
saved my life."
The following comments are from correspondence from patients and
families to Dr. Peikari:
"Thank you so much for the wonderful
care you gave my aunt during her hospital stay."
"Hi, I am the African American lady
who saw you three weeks ago for a swollen cyst on my face. You also
performed extra blood work since I am on several medications that
require monitoring. Well, that was the most positive experience I have
had from a Doc since I was a kid. You were courteous, you were
thorough, you took the time to listen, and you didn't keep me waiting
long. In the past, I have waited forever, just to be snapped at by the
Doctor or ending up in tears. I'm a bit vulnerable and sensitive when
it comes to being half dressed and ignored or yelled at. This note may
not mean much in the course of your busy day, but it is very important
to me that I let you know how well I was treated by you... I'll be
back! "
"I know that my allergy/sinus problem
is minor compared to medical problems other people face, so I would like to
thank you for understanding and helping me to understand the importance of
treating the underlying cause.
I also appreciate it that you accommodate us as a family--that's important to me. Even your nurse is
terrific!"
"I have referred 16 new patients to
you in the last 10 months. Many have actually come to see you, and from
the feedback I have gotten all were pleased. I would not refer my
friends and colleagues to you, if I did not believe in you from the
bottom of my heart. That is why I trust you with my personal health
care. You are the best doctor I have ever been to, and you will be my
family doctor as long as I draw breath."
"Dear Dr. Peikari, Please know how
much it meant to me -- the kindness and support you have shown me
during this difficult time. You and your nurse -- and staff -- helped
me so much with the special care and gentleness shown to me. Thank
you."
"Thank you much for all you do for my
family. You have gone out of your way to help us... I have more respect
for you as a physician than any I have ever known. You have chosen the
correct path for your life's work and your rewards will be as many as
the stars. Again, I thank you."
"I want to thank you for caring for
me -- you are an unusual doctor and so caring. I will always remember
the special care you gave me in the Emergency Room, and then you came
by to see me.... I just wanted you to know you are a very exceptional
person and doctor. I'm very impressed to know that there are people
like you still around. I'm adding you to my prayer list and may
God bless you always."
"I have not had a doctor like Dr.
Peikari since I was much younger. I am 55 years old, and every time I
go to see him I come out feeling better. He takes everything I say into
consideration and helps me. He explains everything and tells me how
things work or will work whether medication, exercise or whatever. I
will not change to another doctor. Hopefully, Dr. Peikari will never
move. He is a good and considerate doctor."
"Dr. Peikari, you have been very
helpful -- thank you.... My husband and I discussed changing to my
company's insurance in January in order to have full coverage, but that
would mean not being able to go to you for our care, and neither one of
us wants to give you up -- you're the best!! Thanks again for your
help."
"Dr. Peikari, you are my hero."
"Dr. Peikari, I just wanted to write
you a note to let you know how
much I appreciate all of your help and hard work as my doctor over the
past few years. You've always been a wonderful listener and I always
felt like you really care about me & about helping me. I've been
living in Oklahoma nearly a year & can't find a doctor that is as
kind, open an genuine as you! Thanks again, and I appreciate everything
you did for me & the advice you gave me!"
